Gardna X Eva Lazarus

Combination Bristol styles

2 voices that speak for Bristol’s current underground music scene are undoubtedly MCs Gardna and Eva Lazarus. Over the past few years each artist has had runaway success both with their releases and with their live shows so it comes as no surprise to anyone that they had to build a show together.

The performance is a dynamic workout of fresh, Bass-driven songs perfect for rocking any crowd including solo tracks and collaborations. Eva brings Reggae produced by Mungo's Hi-Fi, heavy Bass music from Sam Interface of Jus Now and Jungle from Aries. Gardna's influence is predominantly new school sound system styles, with features from the major hits of his Boom Sound back catalogue plus forthcoming bangers from The Nextmen and Gentlemans Dub Club.

Eva’s most recent release ‘Flash Your Lighter’ features in a new British movie, ‘Brotherhood’ staring and directed by Noel Clarke and grime superstar Stormzy. Produced by Killa Mosquito and also featuring Red Rat, the track has had play from the likes of David Rodigan and MistaJam across BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Capital and Kiss.

Gardna has projects with several heavy hitters that are planned to surface throughout 2018 plus his own material is receiving a lot of attention through his label Boom Sound Recordings. Support comes through legends Toddla T, Don Letts and David Rodigan.

This tried and tested combination has appeared at Shambala Festival 2017, the Boom Sound meets Mungos HiFi Tour and in Fred Perry instores.
